It’s time to make your grand exit from high school with some amazing photos tailored just for you. Each of my senior sessions is stylized to capture the beauty of each client. All my photography is natural using Jacksonville’s gorgeous beaches, seance parks, and historical landmarks as my backdrops. Custom photography to me is, creating artistic portraiture, and just as important, creating an experience for this once in a life time moment to cherish always.

Each session Includes a complementary phone consultation to go over session. Senior Session will include an ebook on how to prepare and what to expect for your senior session. Half of your session fee is due to reserve your date. Florida sales taxes will be added to the final price. Sessions further than 25 miles of 32250 will have an additional travel fee is $50.

High School Senior portrait sessions last between 90-120 minutes. Early morning just as the sun rises or early evening prior to sunset offer the ideal times for perfect lighting; however, the best accommodations will be made for you. You can expect a 1-2 hour Senior Portrait session with 1 to 3 different clothing changes. Before we start photographing, we’ll talk about what clothing you brought. We’ll chat a bit about some ideas you may have, some ideas I have, and other important details. I’ll have your parent sign a model release form.
I think the most beautiful portraits are taken in a fun relaxed atmosphere! To take the stress off, we’ll walk around a bit to different parts of the location. I’ll stop once in awhile, ask you to do “something” or stand a certain way, and I’ll snap some photos. You don’t need to be worried about what to do, how to smile, or how to stand – I got it covered.
We understand that sometimes unexpected emergencies arise that will prevent you from keeping your original scheduled appointment (such as illness, weather or travel issues, or other emergency situations). If this happens, we ask that you email us a minimum of 48 hours prior to the scheduled date in order for us to be able to reschedule.
We are able to provide a one-time reschedule if you notify us a minimum of 48 hours prior to your appointment. Additional reschedules will require a fee of $50 per occurrence, and are subject to schedule availability.
Your session fee is non-refundable, however you may apply it towards your rescheduled date if completed within 6 months of the original date.
You should plan to arrive early or on time to your appointment. Showing up late means you lose camera time, and we don’t want that. If you’re coming from out of town, give yourself plenty of time to find your way around. The streets in Jacksonville aren’t the easiest to navigate and having a buffer in case you get lost will save you some stress.
We are fortunate to live in Florida where the sun shines almost every day, however if you do encounter a rainy day (especially those pesky summer storms) Janet is always happy to reschedule.
Professional hair and make-up DO make a difference in Senior photos. I know this is a beautiful but stressful time in your life and hiring someone to do your hair and makeup for your shoot is a wonderful way to pamper yourself to that you don’t have to worry about it. If this isn’t in your budget, stores like Dry Bar and Ulta can be helpful. If you do your own make-up, date night makeup works like a dream.
The consultation is a key part of your custom experience at Janet Chrys photography. This is where we will get to know you and begin to plan out every detail of your experience. The consultation is relaxing and fun, and will help you start to envision your story as we bring it to life.
You will wear several different outfits during your session with Janet, and she will plan those in detail with you during your consultation. You are not limited in the number of outfits, and I will ensure that we select the most complete variety in order to show every part of your story and personal style
As part of our service, we do include complimentary photo retouching on all your finished portraits. You will have smooth, flawless, natural complexion. Fell free to ask in advance if you have any questions or concerns regarding this.
Images will stay online for one month. You will receive a second online gallery with your edited images along with your download pin and print release. The second gallery will stay up for a month and then archived.
You sure can! Additional edited images will be $30 each with an option to purchase your whole session.
